Sharjah Cooperative opens its 45th branch at a cost of more than 30 million dirhams

His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative, and the executives and directors of departments inaugurated the 45th branch of the Sharjah Cooperative located in Al Barashi in the city of Sharjah, at a cost of more than 30 million dirhams approximately, as a continuation of its continuous achievements in the Emirate of Sharjah.

His Excellency extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his constant and continuous support, and to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his constant and continuous follow-up.

His Excellency Majid Al Junaid stressed that the Sharjah Cooperative is working to keep pace with the rapid economic growth in the Emirate of Sharjah, and is launching future plans towards building a major economic system in the retail sector, to have leadership in the local market as the largest and oldest cooperative in the country in providing cooperative service for 44 years.

His Excellency the CEO stated that the establishment of the Al Barashi branch comes in implementation of the directives of the senior management to establish a branch that serves the people of Al Barashi and the neighboring areas such as Al Attin and Mezaira, and is a continuation of the strategic plan developed by the cooperative represented in spreading throughout the Emirate of Sharjah, and providing cooperative service to the largest segment of citizens and residents alike. whether.

His Excellency added: The total area of ​​the branch is approximately 1,815 square meters, and includes approximately 10,000 food and non-food items, on a supermarket area of ​​900 square meters. For cars, the total cost of establishing and equipping the branch amounted to 30 million dirhams.

The Sharjah Cooperative was keen that the branch would include, during the coming period, a number of rented shops, in order to take into account the needs of the people of the area, where a pharmacy and laundry, a men’s and women’s salons, a restaurant and a cafe will be provided, to provide an ideal mix of services for the people, in addition to an ATM and a digital identity device. .

His Excellency Majed Al-Junaid thanked all the departments, bodies and companies that contributed to the completion of this project, and all departments and sections in the cooperative for their efforts in opening the Al-Barashi branch and providing the best services and products to the cooperative shoppers.
